Artist Lecture @ UVU MOA

  • UVU MOA 260 West 1800 South Street Orem, UT, 84058 United States (map)

Come hear my brother and i discuss our two person show that is up through sept 21st. SOme of the possible questions we’ll address will be:Potential Questions to Consider (to be followed by questions from the audience):

  • How did your shared childhood experiences shape your early interests in art?

  • How would you describe each other's artistic styles, and how do they compare to your own?

  • Can you share a story about a time you collaborated on a project? How did that process

  • work for you both?

  • In what ways do your works reflect your shared experiences or memories?

  • Are there specific themes or subjects that you both feel particularly connected to, and why?

  • How has your relationship as brothers evolved through your individual and shared artistic journeys?

  • Do you ever intentionally reference each other's work in your own, either as homage or commentary?

  • How do you support and critique each other’s work in a way that’s constructive rather than competitive?

  • How do your respective artistic processes differ, from inspiration to execution?

  • Have you ever been inspired to create art in response to or in contrast with something your brother has created?

  • How do you see your relationship as brothers continuing to evolve alongside your artistic careers?

  • Looking ahead, how do you see your artistic practices evolving, both individually and possibly together?
