The classroom is a natural place of investigation and exploration. That is not the case for students only. I embrace the role of researcher and welcome the opportunity to expand, not only the students’ but, my own knowledge through the study and practice of art and its impact in the world- personally and globally. Whether that study is on my own or by appointment on the NAEA Research Commission, I embrace it. For the past six years my colleague and friend Flavia Bastos and I have been conducting an ongoing investigation of the possibilities of critically engaging with digital media tools in 21st century classrooms, especially in art. .https://www.whoisamerican.com/
