NAEA Research Commission webcast

  • Spanish Fork, Utah (map)

What motivates you to examine what you do and why you do it? This NAEA Research Commission–sponsored webcast looks across the NAEA research ecosystem to highlight various research processes our members engage in within the many different contexts where art education occurs. In the first half of the webcast, a team of researchers will describe their deep dive into existing research at the intersection of art education and social–emotional learning (SEL), describing their processes, findings, and recommendations that are useful to attendees. In the second half of the webcast, additional researchers will screen their ‘ Give It a Minute" videos in which they briefly share an aspect of their research process, with a bit more information about how their research lives in their particular context. This webcast will offer attendees a glimpse into the wide range of research efforts in the wider NAEA research community, and invite attendees to connect to the NAEA Research Network with their own context-specific curiosities and questions.
